Data processing on this website

le clou GmbH collects and automatically stores in its server log files information which your browser conveys to us. Such information comprises:

the hostname of the accessing computer (IP address)

le clou GmbH may not allocate this information to any particular individuals. It is not consolidated with other sources of information and, moreover, is deleted once a statistical evaluation has been carried out.

Visitor counter

In addition to the log files, we use the visitor counter chCounter, which enables us to present the information contained in the log files in a legible form for our purposes and to obtain detailed statistics. We store such information for a period of 30 days, after which it is automatically deleted. It is used solely for internal evaluation purposes and is not made available to unauthorised third parties. It is not possible to allocate this information to actual individual persons.

Collection and processing of personal data

Personal data is only collected where you yourself disclose such information to us. Your personal data is used solely for the purposes of dealing with your inquiry or order, and is stored in a machine-legible form and mechanically processed. Pursuant to the definition contained in Section 3 (1) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz), personal data comprises “particulars in respect of the personal or factual circumstances of a specific or ascertainable natural person (person concerned)”. This includes, for example, a person’s name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.

Use and dissemination of personal data
